Allen then targets OpenAI and ChatGPT. The owners of Twitter have been targeting OpenAI and ChatGPT on the social media platform for quite some time now. Alan recently targeted OpenAI and ChatGPT in 3 tweets.

Microsoft got access to the entire codebase of OpenAI

Allen wrote in his first tweet that the Microsoft company got access to their entire codebase by investing in OpenAI. Microsoft is one of the largest US-based global tech companies. Microsoft invested in OpenAI in July 2019. Allen often taunts Microsoft on this matter.

OpenAI’s business structure again questioned

There was a time when OpenAI was a non-profit organization, but it is no longer the case. Allen replied to a user and wrote in his second tweet that somehow OpenBay has gone from an opensource non-profit organization to a closed source for profit organization.

ChatGPT’s structure also targeted

In his third tweet, Allen targeted the structure wrote that ChatGPT is built entirely on Microsoft’s cloud computing platform Microsoft Azure. Allen further wrote that when it comes time to push, they have everything, including model weights.

Elon Musk was one of the co-founders of OpenAI in 2015, but he stepped down from the board in 2018 due to conflicts of interest with his other companies, such as Tesla and SpaceX.
