Kangra, Himachal Pradesh | Mamta didi’s Bengal is burning

Anurag Thakur, a union minister, claimed on Tuesday that Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, has turned the state into a “burning ground” and that crime and violence have now become accepted norms there.

Anurag Thakur claimed that under Banerjee’s leadership, the law and order situation in Bengal has gotten worse. He was in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, to speak at a public rally. He claimed that there is a lot of violence in the state and that the TMC government has imposed a reign of terror on its opponents.

“The Bengal of Mamata Didi is burning. In Bengal, crime and corruption have become the new standard. In advance of the impending Panchayat Elections, violence has intensified. Bengal is renowned for “cash for job,” according to Thakur.

He added that the state has one of the highest mortality tolls in the nation and that the TMC government mismanaged the COVID-19 outbreak.

“The TMC government has failed to give the people of Bengal the necessities. Hunger, poverty, and unemployment are all roiling the state. The people of Bengal are tired of the TMC government and want a change, according to Thakur.

He urged Bengalis to support the BJP in the upcoming Panchayat Elections, claiming that the party will bring prosperity, growth, and peace to the region.

The timing of Anurag Thakur remarks coincides with Bengal’s preparation for the Panchayat Elections, which will take place in May. The TMC government, which has been in power for more than ten years, is considered as being put to the test by the elections.

The BJP wants to gain ground in Bengal by taking home a sizable portion of the seats up for election in the Panchayat Elections. The party has been working to broaden its support in the state over the past few years, and recent months have seen progress in that regard.
