Vande Bharat train is to be operated between Dehradun railway station to Delhi after two days. In such a situation, the work of grandly decorating the Dehradun railway station has been started for the inauguration of the train. From Monday, the work of setting up tents and painting started in two platforms (one and two) of the station. On May 24, the movement of trains will be stopped on both the platforms.
This train running from Doon will be the 18th Vande Bharat train of the country. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will inaugurate the train on May 25 at 11 am. On this occasion, more than 300 meters long tents are to be installed on two platforms of Doon railway station. While the work of coloring is being done fast on the flower pots kept at the station. On Monday, several railway officials including DRM Moradabad Division Ajay Nandan inspected the Dehradun station and took stock of the preparations. After this, all the officers left for inspection of Roorkee Railway Station. DRM Moradabad Ajay Nandan is in Dehradun for a few days.
A railway official told that more than 25 laborers are doing the work of erecting tents. While some are doing the work of coloring around the pots and stations. Railway Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Sudhir Singh said that after the two platforms are ready, the movement of trains will be stopped on both the platforms. Vande Bharat train will be dispatched to Delhi from platform number one. Notification has not yet been issued regarding when the train will reach Dehradun, train operation, timings, tickets and stoppages. This notification will be issued by the Railways in a day or two.
