A leopard attacked a small child near Canal Road Bala Sundari Temple in Dehradun, seriously injuring the child. The child somehow saved his life from the leopard and started running.

Such cases of leopard attacks are continuously coming to light in Dehradun, due to which there is an atmosphere of panic among the people. Even before this, there had been an incident where a leopard had attacked and killed children. A similar accident was seen again today. However, the Forest Department team has reached the spot and the search operation has been started. People are afraid to even come out of their homes due to fear of leopard.

A 12 year old boy named Nikhil son Sher Bahadur, resident of Chironwali was attacked by a wild animal this evening. After which the child is admitted in emergency in Doon Hospital. After first aid, CT scan was done. According to doctors, CT scan is normal. The child is currently in normal condition.

Today around 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm, 12 year old Nikhil, son of Shri Sher Bahadur was attacked by Guldar in the forest bush area of ​​Chirda Wali Khala, Rispana River, due to which he got injured on his head. Nikhil sustained injuries on his head. Had gone with his friends to collect wood in the forest area when this incident happened.

On receiving information about the incident, the local police team along with the Forest Department team immediately reached the spot.

Regarding the incident that took place in Rajpur area, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, has directed Police Station Head Rajpur to increase police patrolling in the affected area and also by coordinating with the Forest Department team, people in the affected areas are being provided with Guldar. Being alerted against attack.
