According to information received, a 32-year-old woman was murdered and her body cut into pieces allegedly by her live-in partner in a rented house in Mumbai’s Mira Road town. The police gave this information late Wednesday night. An official of Nayanagar police station said that the brutal murder took place in flat number 704 of the seventh floor of Akashganga building, though the date of the gruesome murder was not known.
Police had reached for investigation on the complaint of foul smell from the house
Giving information about the heart-wrenching case, Mumbai DCP Jayat Bajbale said that today information was received from Geeta Akashdeep Society here that foul smell was emanating from a house. When the police reached the spot and opened the door, they found a dead body which had been cut into pieces. Here a couple lived in a live-in relationship. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the woman was murdered and dismembered. The investigation is on.

Neighbors had complained to the police
The crime came to light this evening when some neighbors complained of foul smell coming from the locked flat and informed the police. A team of Nayanagar police station reached the spot and broke open the lock of the house. There they found the girl’s body cut into several pieces and some pieces missing or allegedly disposed of.

32 year old woman murdered by 56 year old partner
The woman has been identified as 32-year-old Saraswati Vaidya, who was living with her 56-year-old partner Manoj S. Was living with her in a rented flat in Akashganga Bhavan for 3 years. The police have formed a special team to trace the killer live-in partner.
