Amit Shah Uttarakhand Visit : Security arrangements tightened for Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Dehradun
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is proposed to visit Uttarakhand on October 7. Security arrangements have been tightened in Dehradun regarding this tour. The deployment of police and paramilitary forces has been increased in the city. Police checking is being done at all major intersections and roads.
During the arrival of the Home Minister, senior officials briefed the police force deployed for security regarding the security arrangements. Said that operation of drones without permission will be prohibited around the venue.

Instructions given to security forces
- Security forces have been instructed to remain alert and alert.
- Duty personnel will reach their duty place three hours before the scheduled time.
- Only authorized persons and their vehicles will be allowed to reach the venue.
- The police force will not use mobile phones while on duty.
- The VIP route in-charge has been directed to inspect the entire route before the program.

- The traffic system in the city will also be affected during the visit of the Home Minister. During this period, traffic may be partially stopped on some routes.
- Traffic coming from Premnagar towards Ballupur will be partially stopped, traffic coming from the city side will be sent from Panditwadi towards Balliwala via Labali Market.
- Traffic going from Ghantaghar to Premnagar may be partially stopped over Ballupur flyover, while vehicles going towards Ballupur Chowk will be diverted towards Balliwala.
- After 7 pm, the traffic coming from Rispana towards Dharampur will be partially stopped at Rispana bridge. Also, the traffic coming towards Dharampur will be diverted from Rispana Bridge towards Old Bypass Chowk.
- From 6 o’clock, heavy vehicles coming from Kargi Chowk towards Rispana will be diverted towards Dudhli Marg.
- In view of the VVIP program, traffic going to and from the city’s main roads EC Road, Bahal Chowk, Dilaram Chowk, New Cantt Road will be partially stopped at the said intersections.
