DAV PG College Principal resigns : Principal of DAV College, Dr. KR Jain resigned from his post. Many questions were being raised after the death of the girl due to the collapse of the wall adjacent to the DAV complex.
Sources said that there was a lot of uproar after this incident and information about it had reached the DAV management. At the same time, angry students created ruckus in the principal’s house and college for several days. The principal was distressed about this also. It is being told that he has resigned on moral grounds.
Girl dies due to collapse of wall adjacent to DAV campus: After this incident, many questions were raised against the principal. People had alleged that the principal had been negligent regarding the security arrangements of the college campus. Angered by this incident, the students created ruckus in the principal’s house and the college for several days. The principal was also distressed by this incident.
Ethics: The principal said he resigned on ethical grounds. He said that as a principal it is his duty to ensure the security of the college. A girl died in this incident, hence he has resigned and taken responsibility.
After the resignation, Principal Dr. KR Jain said that he has tried his best for the betterment of the college. He said he was grateful to the students and staff of the college.
The management of DAV College has accepted the resignation of the Principal. The management has said that it will appoint a new principal soon.
