Delivery Boy Road Safety : Recently a food delivery boy died in a road accident in Dehradun. After this accident, the Transport Department has launched an awareness campaign. Under this campaign, delivery boys are being told about road safety rules.
Transport Department officials said that so far 45 delivery boys have been trained under this campaign. In the training, delivery boys have been told about wearing helmets, following lane rules and speed limits.
Apart from this, the Transport Department has also started action against those driving rashly. The department has instructed the traffic police to take strict action against those driving rashly.
This campaign of the Transport Department is being welcomed. People believe that this campaign will increase the safety of delivery boys as well as other road users.
