Anupurak budget : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government in Uttarakhand has presented a Anupurak budget of Rs 11,321 crore for 2023-24. In this budget, a provision of Rs 7,699 crore has been made for development works, Rs 2,283 crore for revenue expenditure and Rs 1,339 crore for loan.
The maximum amount in the Anupurak budget has been allocated for development works. This amount will be used for the development of roads, electricity, education, health and other infrastructure.
The amount allocated for revenue expenditure will be used for salaries, pensions and other revenue expenditure.
The amount allocated for the loan will be used to meet the fiscal deficit of the state.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the supplementary budget is to speed up the development of the state. He said that this budget would create employment opportunities in the state and improve the standard of living of the people.
Opposition parties have accused the government of not allocating enough funds for development works in the Anupurak budget He said that the government should allocate more funds for development works.
