India population Report: India has overtaken China in terms of population. In the latest report of the United Nations, India has now become the most populous country in the world. According to the report, now the population of India has increased to 142.86 crores. At the same time, China has come at the second position with 142.57 crores. According to the UN report, there has been a jump of 1.56 percent in India’s population in one year.

India’s total fertility rate is 2.0. Another heartening thing in this report is that 25% of India is in the age group of 0-14 years. Let us inform that this report is being published since 1978.

Now the world population is 8 billion

According to the UN report, the average life expectancy in India for an Indian male is 71 years and for females it is 74 years. The representative of UNFPA India said that now the world population has reached 8 billion. We will see India’s 1.4 billion people as 1.4 opportunities. He said that India is a powerful country. It is making steady progress in terms of education, public health and sanitation and economic development.

Highest number of youth in India

In this report, 25 percent of India’s age is 0-14 years. This is followed by 18 per cent people in the age group of 10-19 years. The number of people in the age group of 10-24 years is 26 percent. But in India it is around 68% between 15-64 years. That is, India has the largest number of youth. At the same time, Halal has deteriorated in China.
