Dehradun: Anjali Aswal from Lansdowne was crowned Miss Uttarakhand 2026 at the grand finale of the much-awaited beauty and fashion pageant held at Skydeck, Centrio Mall in Dehradun on Friday.
The grand finale of Miss Uttarakhand 2026, presented by Kamal Jewellers and organised by Sinmit Communications, witnessed an impressive display of fashion, confidence and talent. Contestants walked the ramp across different rounds and showcased their personality, presentation skills and confidence in front of the judges and audience.
Anjali Aswal of Lansdowne won the coveted Miss Uttarakhand 2026 title. Nandini Kaushik from Haridwar was named the first runner-up, while Shweta Sharma, also from Haridwar, secured the second runner-up position. Parakh Jain from New Tehri was declared the third runner-up, and Preeti Ghota from Pithoragarh was named the fourth runner-up.
Three Rounds Decided the Miss Uttarakhand 2026 Winner
The grand finale featured three major rounds, giving contestants an opportunity to demonstrate different aspects of their personality and talent.
The competition began with the Ethnic Wear and Introduction Round, where contestants introduced themselves while wearing traditional outfits. The second round featured Western wear, with participants showcasing their confidence and individual style on the ramp.
The final Evening Gown Round tested not only the contestants’ ramp-walking skills but also their confidence and ability to respond to questions from the judges. The round gave the finalists an opportunity to demonstrate their personality, awareness and communication skills.
Several Sub-Contests Held Before the Grand Finale
Several sub-contests were organised in the days leading up to the Miss Uttarakhand 2026 Grand Finale. These contests allowed participants to showcase their modelling abilities, personality, communication skills, creativity and individual talents.
Speaking about the event, Sinmit Communications directors Dileep Sindhi and Rajiv Mittal said that the participation of young women in the Miss Uttarakhand competition has been increasing every year. They said the platform provides participants with greater exposure and opportunities to showcase their talent.
According to the organisers, the competition aims to provide a platform for talented young women from Uttarakhand where they can showcase not only their modelling skills but also their personality, confidence, talent and connection with the culture of the state.
The event was organised by Sinmit Communications, presented by Kamal Jewellers and supported by Centrio. Aabha Heights, Evermont Realty and several other institutions and brands also supported the competition.
Crown Ceremony Held by Miss Uttarakhand 2025 Winners
The crown ceremony was conducted by Miss Uttarakhand 2025 Smriti Rawat, along with first runner-up Vaishnavi Lohani and third runner-up Ambika Rawat.

The judging panel included actress and media personality Indrani Pandhi, educationist Annie Singh, actor and educationist Kunal Mal, Miss Uttarakhand 2017 and Miss Diva Shivangi Sharma, and television actress Priyanka Kandwal.
