Golden Temple bombs : There was a stir in the Golden Temple on Friday midnight. When the information came that there were 4 bombs near the Golden Temple. Punjab Police alerted. The search operation was carried out throughout the night. The police could not find the bomb anywhere. In this case, the Punjab Police detained a Nihang and 4 children. There was an uproar in Gurunagari Amritsar on late Friday night. When the Punjab Police received a call from a pass, in which there was information about four bombs in the Golden Temple. The Punjab Police got alerted on this information. And immediately reached the spot with the bomb defuse squad. After investigation, the police took four people, including three children, into custody for making the calls.

A Nihang has also been arrested in this. It is being told that at around one o’clock in the night, four bombs were reported near the Golden Temple. June 6 marks the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star. Police officials have not confirmed the incident. It is being told that the police can hold a press conference in this matter on Saturday afternoon.

Got a threatening call in the night

According to police sources, the police received a call at around 1 am. And the caller said that four bombs have been placed near the Golden Temple. After this the phone got disconnected. Police called the number repeatedly but no one picked up the call.

Bomb disposal squad reached Sri Harmandir Sahib

Control Room Incharge gave this information to Police Commissioner Naunihal Singh. Within no time ten bomb disposal squads from the police line reached Sri Harmandir Sahib. Along with this, red alert was issued in the whole of Punjab.

Accused in custody, interrogation continues

It is being told that the police searched the area but no bomb was found. But in the investigation, the caller living in the bamboo market was identified. It is alleged that a youth had made a phone call with some teenagers. Police is interrogating him. The police have started questioning the relatives of the arrested children in custody.

Amritsar will remain closed on the 39th anniversary of Operation Bluestar

On June 6, the anniversary of Operation Blue Star is celebrated in the Golden Temple. Dal Khalsa, a pro-Khalistan outfit, has called for Amritsar bandh on June 6 to mark the 39th anniversary of Operation Bluestar. This organization will also take out a march on the evening of 5th June. Regarding the Amritsar bandh, the Punjab government has decided to deploy two companies of paramilitary forces and 5,000 policemen of the Punjab Police in Amritsar. The Punjab Police has also appealed to the public to share information about suspicious elements.
