Workers were trapped in the tunnel for 16 days
On November 12, an emergency hospital was built inside the kitchen canal in Silkyara, Uttarakhand, and an air ambulance was also deployed.
It is being told that an emergency hospital has been prepared inside the tunnel. After taking the workers out of the tunnel, they will be taken directly to the hospital. Oxygen cylinders have also been sent inside the tunnel.
Air ambulance has also been arranged for the workers outside the tunnel. Rope and ladder are being taken into the tunnel. At around 5:00 in the morning, due to a landslide, a part of the under-construction Silkyara-Dandalgaon tunnel located on Yamunotri National Highway suddenly collapsed, due to which 41 laborers from 8 states got trapped inside the tunnel. To save all these workers, different teams were engaged in relief and rescue work.
