Vladimir Putin Arrested : Is Vladimir Putin Afraid Of Getting Arrested In India?: Russian President Vladimir Putin is not coming to India for the G20 summit. In such a situation, the fear of arrest is also being cited as a reason.
The G20 summit is an annual meeting of representatives of the world’s largest economies. This year’s conference will be hosted by India and will be held in New Delhi on 9-10 September. The summit is expected to be attended by 29 heads of state and top officials of the European Union as well as invited guest countries and heads of 14 international organizations.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the conference. Because of the Russian aggression, many Western countries have opposed inviting Putin to the summit. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will attend the conference in Putin’s place.

Is the fear of arrest haunting Putin?
In fact, no reason has been given for Putin not coming to India. But since the Russia-Ukraine war, Putin has severely limited his foreign tours. Some people are calling it the fear of his arrest. In fact, due to ‘war crimes’ in the Ukraine war, the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against him. It was released on March 17 this year. In such a situation, Putin can be arrested from 123 member countries of ICC.
Would Putin be in danger in India?
India is not a member country of ICC. The ICC can appeal to a non-member country, but cannot force it. In such a situation, there is no danger of arrest for Putin in India.
