“CRPF Constable Exam to be conducted in 13 regional languages”

CRPF Exam: Union Home Ministry has approved the conduct of Constable (General Duty) exam in 13 regional languages apart from Hindi and English. The decision has been taken on the initiative of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to increase the participation of local youth in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and to promote regional languages.

Question paper will also be prepared in 13 regional languages in CAPFs.

The government has said that the Constable (General Duty) exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English as well as in 13 regional languages. Which includes Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Odia, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri and Konkani. Now the candidates will have the option to take the exam in these languages as well.

The main advantage of taking the exam in your regional language is that it makes it easier for the candidate to attempt the paper and increase the chances of getting selected for the job. Now as a result of the inclusion of 13 regional languages, the candidates appearing for the exam will be more enthusiastic about their own language. Let us tell you that lakhs of candidates participate in the crpf exam conducted by SSC. Earlier, due to non-appearance of Kshatriya languages in the examination, the local youth used to have inferiority complex towards other languages, that too will end.

Demand for inclusion of regional languages

The demand for inclusion of regional languages has been made many times by different governments and ministers. Computer Based Examination for the recruitment of CAPF Constable, now the exam of CAPF Constable will be conducted in 13 regional languages also.
